FRG Memories of the 80's
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

Nice Centurion!

CAT was generally bad-mouthed when I was in, as you say there was a lot of politics but also I think some of it was sour grapes as Challenger 1 was not doing as well against its peers as we had been used to with Centurion and Chieftain (and as Challenger 2 is now I would like to think).
