The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

I hope they do the subject matter justice and pay tribute to the WW2 veterans. Sometimes I think the reliance on CG is sensory overload ( for me anyway), so much "action" going on you don't know which way to look.

Like skies filled with planes going every which-way and fighters pulling about 25g turns, fer instance?

absolutely The landing sequence on Iwo Jima in "Flags of our Fathers" springs to mind as well

CG, The cheap and safe way to do things, bring back the old days with stunt men and actual vehicles (A Bridge too Far comes to mind). Joe D
