A great story of Kris pitching the song "Sunday Morning Coming Down" to Johnny Cash. He landed a helicopter in Cash's yard. Laughing

It wasn't mentioned in this version but I saw a documentary on Johnny Cash and he said Kris stepped out of the Chopper with a beer in his hand. True or not makes a good tale.

Clearly JG300 material. We're not actively "recruiting", but if he wants to submit an application.... Wink

That article references a tour in Vietnam. I've never seen any support for that assertion. Kristofferson did achieve the rank of Captain and was a rated helicopter pilot, but it's my understanding that his overseas posting was Germany and that he separated from the service ~1964.
