SAN RAFAEL World War II US Military Vehicle Museum
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

I am assuming that that is an M-18 Hellcat in the foreground. Are the kill rings artistic license? and what about the Locust? Does it belong to the San Rafael museum? BTW there are 3 Locusts listed in the USA AFVs register for the Military Museum of Southern New England, Danbury. One is indoor but I've never seen any pic of the 2 others.. maybe the list shown on their website is wrong? Is there still a Locust at Aberdeen, or has that one shuffled off to Ft. Lee (or elsewhere)?

I saw the Locust at the San Rafael museum several years ago when they were restoring it, so they've had it for a while. I'm not sure where they got it from nor do I recall if it has the correct turret, though. _________________ www.themech.org
