National WWII Museum: M4A3E9 Sherman, M3 Half-Track, LVT4
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

M4A3E9 Sherman

SN 622?

The M3 Half-Track (converted from an M15 GMC actually) and LVT4 are in storage - thankfully the assistant curator let me see them...

Nope. S/N 622 was not an M4A3 S/N. Numbers would be on glacis below head lights and rear plate below taillights. Did you get a pic that showed the R/N?

That R/N corresponds to S/N 12050, which is supposedly in Hampshire IL.

2/67th Armored Rgt. was assigned 1st Army, but I am guessing about the meaning.
