RE: APG Hetzer
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

I don't think they used black and white paint in WWII. Wink

I've seen a color photo from same time period, but can't seem to 'relocate it'.

As a kid, I used to think the past was not really black & white, but various shades of gray.

"Victory At Sea" was a favorite along with the early episodes (B&W) of 'RAT PATROL'

When we got our first Color TV,.....it was a 'brave new world!!'.

IIRC when I first visited APG in 77 and for a few years after that there were some pretty outrageous paint jobs on a few vehicles. The Hetzer comes to mind and in particular the Jgpz. IV Shocked . I'll have to try and dig out my old slides and check. they are definitely in color

There are a number of examples of vehicles in the distinctive Czechoslovak camo schemes. For example, note the TNHPS on the cover:

www.amazon.com/gp/prod...55&s=books

and here:

www.wwiivehicles.com/g...w-38-t.asp

and these:
