Armed Forces Day 09 at Picatinny
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

Some fun today at Picatinny. Car crushing w/ an M60. And something I have not seen before, a Ripsaw MS1.

There are some cool video segments of the ripsaw on you tube. I first saw it and thought it was an Ontos on Steroids. The developer has been trying to interest DOD in it as some sort of unmanned vehicle.

Not sure if it has a practical application, other than being one fast mini-mud buggy. However if anyone wants to get me one for my birthday, I'd gladly accept it !! Cool

Was probably at Picatinny because it's carrying their weapon system. It's reportedly been to APG, and not where certain "tours" go. Wink
