Found this today while climbing into drivers escape hatch for the T34 Heavy prototype.
The Data Plate: (Serial Number 2)

My favorite family of heavy tanks. Keep your T-28, that's just armor pron, but these could have happened. And they look like tanks.

And it's at this point that I'd like to introduce a petition compelling Neil to circulate his copy to the membership at large on a rotating basis for everyone to see these pictures. It will, of course, be returned....eventually, I feel sure. Wink

I'll see about finding some 'original' old source photos and match them up to the data plate.

Besides, I guess I can add them to the historical record since the SN is verified.

BTW: The Data plate was on the left side hull wall next to the drivers seat, Just above the drivers escape hatch opening.

Now I need to try and get into the T28 for that data plate!!
