interesting diorama
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

Too many chronological errors, equipment both out of time and place, to count for a Stalingrad battle diorama. A lot of effort on the build but zip on research and chronological accuracy. No thought IMO has gone into the display other than "let's see how much stuff I can cram in here", it's just too cluttered.

No, sorry I don't like it.

I agree, I can appreciate the modellers work & committment, but think that perhaps all that effort could have been directed towards modelling an actual WW2 event or battle, and not cramming everything into such a small space.

I too, agree, way to much unrealistic blood and numerous chronological impossibilities. I am always saddened by some one who puts forth a tremendous amount of their time, talent and significant expense but fails to do the basic reasearch to make sure their presentation is historically correct, my two cents

I agree with all the above. Once i saw the Tiger I figured the artist is a show off amateur.

I like it.
Historically inacurate but if you get over that it's appealing.
The over the top blood and gore and "all in" feel of the diorama I find great.
I think if the modeller changed the title of his/her piece to something like, " Eastern front carnage" it would be more widely accepted.
