The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

I noticed they listed "Corrector, Cant" and "Projector, Reticle", Those are components of a modern electric FCS. They didn't start fielding them until the early M60A1's with the M16 FCS, which didn't last long. Wasn't until the M60A2 came out with the M19 system that we finally had a modern FCS. I'd love to see pictures of the system and it's principals of operation. Joe D

Here is the only FCS diagram I retrieved today. As for actual principles of operation, I'll have to add that to a growing list for next visit. Don
