The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

Mark, Why do you say 75mm? That one looks much larger and has a spotting rifle attached. Is it not a "106"? When I view the site, it says "106mm" for me in caption...(last pic on page)

That is the M40, 106mm RR. The 75mm is far shorter and did not have the M8 cal.50 Spotter Rifle as this RR seems to have. JMHO Don

- MarkHolloway Thanks Dontos! If anyone knows the 106 it's you Thank you for that. With no actual operational experience with the RR system, my 'experience' is more of a mere hobby. But having dealt with only 6 106's, my ID ability is perhaps a little more advanced. But with that said, I could be wrong. Don
