The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

I had to laugh when watching the Docent talk about the Panther and sloped armor. Almosyt anyone who has been on one of my 'Boy Scout' tours at Aberdeen would recognize the spiel (complete with hand gestures indicating the sloped armor) I do it next to the T-34 but the comments about the German surprise and reaction are almost identical. I really need to get out there
