What is this the interior to? (truck or armored car)
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

It isnt a jeep or HMMWV, looking at that windshield, I wouldnt guess it to be an armored car... it has a console... no manual trans...

The instrument panel looks like WW2 vintage.

dont think it is the M561 or M422-- different interiors...
you can read the instruments on the dash, was tring to figure out the layout/controls-- couple of switches, amperes, temp, tachometer, mph, lights, ingintion, wipers... the dash is to the left, the steering wheel is to the right,
wouldnt you agree it is an auto tranny-- would rule out WW2 vintage...console wont allow for a stick...

it is that console, I dont know what truck has that...
most dashes have the everything to the driver's front or to his right...
What was that one engineers vehicle, dozer-grader-troop carrier??
???

looking at the drivers layout and the windshield for some reason I keep thinking it might be construction/engineer, maybe something like the "BAT"...

Yes, thanks! I was wrong, it is WW2. I stand corrected.
I knew there was something not "standard" about it. The cab forward and all, the inline 6 and the console/engine cover, all of the info right here on pg. 79...

So where is this Neil? OK?? Wonder what the condition of the vehicle is and specifically what model it is?... I would like to see the bomb service variant...

It's a shame to see a relatively rare softskin exposed to the elements like that, It should be inside somewhere.
