France AFVs register was updated today, with a far more precise list of the vehicles stored in the museum reserves buildings. I visited them two weeks ago and have seen near to all of the vehicles listed on the document.

A shame that I was not able to identify all the vehicles, some are listed as "unknown model/variant" or "unknown vehicle"...

The Sherman register lists this tank as being SN 65914

The 2 vehicles have the same SN in the USA AFVs register? By the way, the Carlisle example has a painted RN 3053628, which is an exact match with the SN

Good catches P-O, thanks. Looks like the Army Heritage & Education Center bought it from that private owner. BTW, it can be very useful to search the G104 forum for a particular SN/RN to get such details. Neil

I seem to remember hearing that Carlisle bought a Sherman from a private owner a couple years back. I heard it in the form of 'Why is the Army buying a monument tank when they have them sitting at Anniston in storage?' Huh, I guess that makes two reenactor OT-810s that the California Army National Guard keeps around. This is "Thor," which I last saw at Camp Roberts: I would wonder if they're the same vehicle, but: 1) they're 4+ hours drive (242 miles) apart, and 2) appears to have different paint jobs. Neil
