I know painted registrationnumbers are always, but two different RN one one vehicle? Roy maybe I have asked you before the question, May I use you pictures at the Afv Register, as always credits to you wil be added. Michel

just curious, where did you find the serialnumber?

I was thinking it is a Sheman tank hull, so I checked the rear tow lugs. One of them had 4508 on it. (Correction/update Nov 14, 09: mix up with my notes, see my next post about the number being on the front of the vehicle) The other one had to many layers of paint to see anything.

Hi Folks!

I took a good look at this one on Monday. I couldn't get a look at the rear tow lugs because of the exhaust deflectors. I did find the number 4508 inside a box on the front upper slope. It was about 2 inches above the far right bolt in the transmission cover.

Those it look like this one? If so, its probably rebuild by the French, but it makes it doubtful its a Korean veteran. Michel
