The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

FWIW, this one looks a bit different to me - including the slope of the front hull & hatch. There's also no bumper bar. Perhaps its the prototype?

The one with the 'bumper bar' is a late production vehicle - the other is a prototype and has lost its screen at some stage. It also appears to have been upgraded to a production standard vehicle as well. This particular batch of prototypes were supposed to have been converted to Panga's so its unusual to see one in Fox configuration.

Early production vehicles had the screen fitted and you can usually see the bolt-holes in the catwalk/fenders where they have been removed. Mid-production vehicles have the smooth fenders/catwalks.
