Help/Pics Needed - Tankland, South El Monte, CA
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

Oops, I got my 1950s APCs mixed up. I have the M59, and now one of the M75s. I need the second M75 now...



I think this is the non-ballistic prototype vanilla M48 Patton (SN 49)? I need the M48A1 and the M48A5 turret - unless this is the latter...

That doesn't look like it would be the M48A5 to me

1) It is set up for two crew positions in the hull
2) The gun looks like a 90mm

I suspect it was a crew trainer for an M47 series
