Hi Folks!

The serial number MAYBE 4508. The 45 & the 8 are very clear. The 0 is a little messed up and might be something else.

I was thinking it is a Sheman tank hull, so I checked the rear tow lugs. One of them had 4508 on it. (Correction/update Nov 14, 09: mix up with my notes, see my next post about the number being on the front of the vehicle) The other one had to many layers of paint to see anything.

Hi Folks!

I took a good look at this one on Monday. I couldn't get a look at the rear tow lugs because of the exhaust deflectors. I did find the number 4508 inside a box on the front upper slope. It was about 2 inches above the far right bolt in the transmission cover.

Those it look like this one?

If so, its probably rebuild by the French, but it makes it doubtful its a Korean veteran.
