What's This Called?
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

Here in Belgium its cald a AIFV (Armored Infantry fighting vehicle), in the Nederlands its a YPR-765. I believe its also used in Turkey, Korea, Malasia(???). It's basically a M113 in disguise.

*Men may come and men may go but M113s goes on for ever*
the Canadian Army tried to retire M113s but had to keep some
to send to afghanistan because LAVs had mobility problems...
