The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

I tracked down the missing Chieftain that was formerly displayed outside the Calgary Museum of the Regiments.

And with the Oilsands getting all kinds of press right now I can categorically state that Global Warming wasn't in effect when I took these.

It was minus 38 degrees celsius in the sun out of the wind...

yeah, that's quite boring to work with "old" material Mr. Green

Beside that, I realized today that there were different vehicles called "Humber" :
Humber Light Reconnaissance Car
Humber Scout Car
Humber Armoured Car

In the USA AFVs register, we can't make the difference between those..

Good point, the ones in the US are all Humber armoured cars and I will now say as much (although the others are quite rare).
