M114 USA out? SN 216; Unconfirmed

VFW Post 2621, 206 Riverside Rd
M114 USA out? SN 541; Unconfirmed

Maybe when the snow melts I'll be able to run over that way and see what I can find. Using Google Maps streetview there are Lingles at both locations.

Did we ever come up with a definitive exterior serial number for Lingles? I don't trust the numbers stamped in the rear hull next to the tow/lift lugs and I think that is what we have used in the past

We have not found definitive evidence for SNs marked on the exterior of M114s - which makes them a bit of an oddity - but some have the RN marked on the front hull. Under the left front headlight if I remember correctly?

I need to run by some of the local ones (Frederick & Hampstead) and look them over again and see if I missed them before

I'll see what I can do but all I did was plug the addresses into Google maps and then get to street view and wander around till I saw something that looked like a Lingle! Laughing

The 20 Marlyn drive said it wouldn't zoom in all the way but there was still street view. I saw what looked like a tracked blob down the street so I had to wander down there and turn and look at it
