Whats the name of the collection in San Rafael, CA
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

These guys were on "Tank Overhaul" last week getting their Chaffee on the road for a local 4th of July parade.

(The formula for reality TV is beginning to be predictable. An hour time slot; 20 minutes of useful tape collected over 2 weeks; stand-up interviews with the participants; showboat tirades when things don't work; maudlin compliments when everything comes together in the end; computer animated whatevers; and a writing style that recaps the last 10 minutes at the resumption of the broadcast right after each commercial. Have I forgotten any othe tricks?)

Spot on! I try not to complain too much, though - I still remember the days when you could go a year between tank programs on the TV.

You forgot the edited bits of combat footage of a totally different vehicle w/ story line which sort of leaves you wondering what the damn show is actually about...???

But still pretty neat to watch
