Some vehicles I am looking for for the USA AFV Register. Pics needed & additional info welcome: American Legion Post 457, 300 N Devoe St M1 Abrams USA out? SN L1469; Unconfirmed M41A2 Walker Bulldog USA out SN 5275 Only American Legion (or VFW) alleged to have an Abrams AFAIK! Thanks! Neil

Neil, one of my tractor buddies lives about 6 miles up the road from this post. He knows there are tanks there, but as to type, well he knows tractors! He will take pics for me. A little side note. He says this hall was built with a $1 million donation by a member of the post. I bet it is probably the best in the MidWest.

Guess the snow wasn't as bad as I thought. Here is what he has so far. M-41- across the street from Legion Hall in small park. M-1 - in front of Legion Hall. I wonder why tie-downs are needed for these tanks? Thanks for the pics! That confirms Lone Tree as the only American Legion Post (or VFW for that matter) that has an M1 Abrams tank on display... Anyone care to identify the exact model? The TACOM Central Registry says its SN L1469. Neil
