Neil, I've posted photos of the stuff your looking for under my Camp Mabry post. I spoke with two different volunteers at the museum and neither of them had seen an BMP-1 in the collection. The only Russian AFV they have is a MT-LB.

Most likely it was a misidentification of the MT-LB, which I wasnt aware of. Neil
