Post subject: Really COOL Site.....and a bit of an announcement.....

Coupla cool things here...

First off....check out this cool site:

LOTS of really cool stuff having to do with General Aviation and specifically, taildraggers! Recommended cruising, for sure!

Second....well I have known about this for a few months now but didn't want to say anything until it was about the right time......I am taking a one-hour ride in an AT-6 Texan this coming Friday. It includes stick time and all the aerobatics you can eat, from the front seat! I'm totally stoked, the luvin' wifey got it for me as a XMas gift back in December, and it's organized by a group of Texan owners who travel the country on a schedule in the warmer months, so this weekend they're coming to our area.

I had a delicate question to ask in preperation so I found this site while looking for a good place to ask it. I got excellent advice and would have to say there are some very friendly pilots and folks there.

Anyway.....I'll be sure to post some pics and stories of the flight afterwards!

have fun stoopy if you can remember something while having the wild ride. please take note of the nose of the plane as it comes out of some of the rolls and dives. i am wondering if the nose sways back and forth after coming back to straight and level or if the airflow on the rudder snaps it back to a staight flight path. thanks arch
