The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

Here is the other Panther. If you put a coin (2 EUR) you can make the tracks and turret move. Kids love it and the Museum collect some extra money. I just wish they used an M47 or Leopard for that Massimo

I have concerns about the mannequin on the right too!!! It is hard for a military museum to appeal to general as well as specialist subject visitors. top marks for looking after the kit, hmmm on the displays. Keith Matthews

It is hard for a military museum to appeal to general as well as specialist subject visitors

Sinsheim is not an military museum, in the manner that it is miltary (armed forces) or military in the manner of military equipment

Sinsheim is actualy an technical museum
Besides the tanks they have planes, cars, motorbikes, steam engines, trains, farming machinery, musical organs, etc

In basic: all the technical stuff
The tanks and other military stuff is just an part of the total collection
