Aerial Tank ID Help Needed (new - Carson City NV)
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

I didn't realize you had jumped across the country from Ft McPherson. Ya need to let us know when you change focus like that Wink

The last one is in Carson City NV. I notice it is on U.S. 50. The other end of U.S. 50 is here in Annapolis/Washington DC. Am I the only one who feels these urges to get on a road and just take it to the far end? I think A new person (Tom Brokaw?) Did that last year on U.S. 50. I've seen some of his stories. But just get in the car and drive off to hell with work, bills, etc. Cool

Neil, Starting from the M1IP moving counter clockwise from the Bing Map view: M60A3 TTS, M901 ITV, M113A2 w/ ACAV shields, M551A1, M42. I have a set of pictures of the M60A3 which you can make out the three previous unknown in the background. _________________ Joe_D
