recoilless rifle on a Vespa scooter??????
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

Post subject: recoilless rifle on a Vespa scooter??????
I can't find the photo I saved (somewhere) of a scooter, which I think was a Vespa, that had a 105mm recoilless rifle barrel mounted on it. I believe the French paratroopers tried it out in Algeria???? There is one in a museum, or private collection somewhere. I think it was posted on this forum within the last year or so.

I would like to get it, if youse guys can tell me where to find it.

Use google images search with vespa military, you get plenty of
images of said configuration.

there is one on display at the Musée des Blindés, Saumur (France).
It is called a Vespa 150 A.C.M.A. T.A.P. (Troupes Aéroportées)
