Czech/Swedish Tankette
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

The dedicated book on Czech tankettes, published by MBI, is a must-read (we mentioned already MBI books in the LTL-H thread).

The book covers, among other things, the AH-IV tankettes that went to Ethiopia after WW II:
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AH-IV

I always wondered if any of this survived, even if just as wreck.
The authors say that:

- CKD was selected because a swedish officer serving as a consultant already know CKD from before WW II

- The Ethiopian Army has no need for heavier models, not only because of the poor road network, the tanks were mostly used for internal purposes and to help collecting taxes Laughing

WOW! The attention to detail is so good the vehicle may come out better than new.
