www.bealmear.com/dawn_...a_tale.htm i posted this on rc forum but thought none vistors to that might find it intresting, check out the model on "43rd Aero Squadron (AEF) Photo Album Project" thats gotta be one of the earliest scale planes going......

Interesting story, Banshee.
I hope the AMA interviews James Kaiser, it would be nice to learn more about this model. I just checked their website and didn't see anything. Maybe in the near future, eh?

Yeah intresting stuff for sure, would be nice if that model turned up somewhere after all these year, who knows it could be say in some atic waiting discovery.
I would imagine that it prolly had working engine as it certainly looks scale, as for flying i doubt they would have any way of control back then, maybe a few runs on the grass were possible for fun lol, lots of fun can be had just sat running engines and using ones imagination i guess....
Would be nice to here some follow up on this so i bookmarked the site n check it regular, also the ww1 sims these guys do with rc is pretty cool......
