They have been trying to show the hell. I just wish they had more consistency with such as it portrays to a central set of characters. To me, they jump around too much. They finally develope Lucky's character and get to the heart of it and then they change and go to someone else.

For whatever reason they didnt have the budget to make as many episodes as they had wished. Has anyone read any of their memoirs or the campanion book to the series? They are all very good.

The writings contain some "armor-track" content as it pertains to the support of a rifle company, etc. One tid-bit, Sledge states they preferred the support of M4's over the LVT Zippos.
I am enjoying the series and glad they did it. I would love to see more.
