Fort Hood 1950's
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

Thanks for the lead. I had run the installations using "Ft." instead of "Fort" and hadn't gotten very good results. Using "Fort" in the search term gave some good results. For instance when I searched "Fort Benning" I got a nice series of stuff from 1950 and 1952 showing M26 mediums on the range, a series on the M39 AUV, a walk around of the M19 "twin 40" and a bunch of infantry weapons. A search of "Fort Knox" got not only the bullion depository but some 1940 shots of early armored training.
