Czech to obtain rare Czechoslovak-built tank from Peru
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

The Czech Republic is to obtain an historic tank from Peru that was built specifically for export to the South American country in the 1930s. Prague’s Military History Institute, which falls under the Defence Ministry, and the Peruvian town of Mollendo recently signed an agreement by which Peru will make a gift of the tank to the Czech Republic. In return, it will receive a donation of 50,000 US dollars for the building of a new library.

That's great. They should try approaching the Swiss Army too, arrange a trade and get one LTH (aka Pz 39).

That's incredible to see how Poland and Czech Republic are currently bringing back nationally-produced vehicles from other countries, in order to complete their pre-1945 armored vehicles collections.

For example, CZ got the LT-35 from Aberdeen.
Adam Rudnicki restored a TK-3 tankette which came from France.
Jacek Kopczy?ski got a TKS tankette from North Norway.
A C2P was recently acquired from the Auburn museum in the USA and is now in Poland.

Fortunately in France, we already have nearly all the French WW2 armored vehicles at Saumur.

Interesting news about the another historical Czech tank coming home. I hope on day to get to see the old Aberdeen LT-35 restored in its new home.

O-P or anyone else - have you heard anything more about the 7TP replica being built in Poland?

Regards,

Chris.

The Czech Republic have also from Sweden Stridsvagn m/37 (Strv m/37) a Swedish-built version of the Czechoslovak CKD AH-IV tankette.

Polish Army Museum have a TKS from Sweden.

That is true that the number of historical armour vehicles is growing in Poland.

The number of repros is also growing in Poland, now we have those repros:
- 4x Wz. 34
- 1x Wz. 28
- 1x Ford FT-B
- 2x Peugeot 1918
- 1x BA-64
- 2x Sd.Kfz 222
- 1x Sd.Kfz 231 (6rad)
- 1x Sd.Kfz 13
- 2x Pz.Kpfw II
- 1x Kubu?
- 2x FT-17
