In case you tend to get lost or have other reasons, why you would like to see the name of that airport near by, have a look here: lc0277.nerim.net/wiki/...rt%20names Lamont Clark found an undocumented tweak for the FSX. Sure.
First, look for the "Standard.xml", file at
Windows XP: C:\Documentes...\<user>\Application Data\Microsoft\FSX\Controls
Windows Vista: C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\FSX\Controls

Make a back-up!

Open the file with any editor

At "simcontrols.map" under "Keyboard_Main" add the following entry ( Ctrl+Shift+P is just a suggestion ):

<Entry>
<Key>CTRL+SHIFT+P</Key>
<Down>TOGGLE_AIRPORT_NAME_DISPLAY</Down>
</Entry>

Save the file

Run FSX and when pressing Ctrl+Shift+P you have the result.
