Tomorrow, Wednesday July 7th 2010, will be the fifth anniversary of the cowardly bombing of several civilian targets in London by several extremists, probably with severe learning difficulties, to target the innocent population and cause fear and panic.
Fifty two innocent people were killed and many were injured.
Some dreadfully and in life changing ways.

And yet STILL, five years on; WERENOTAFRAID.COM/ !!!

I was in London that day attending a hospital at that time and using the public transport system.
I saw disturbance, trauma, and the rapid organisation of resources.
There was no panic.
There was no fear.
Five years on and we're sad (not scared) for the victims who suffered such injustice through no fault of their own.

So bring it, bitch!
We're STILL here and we're STILL not afraid.
We are, however, rather irked.
You screwed up!

Was talking to someonme yesterday who was closer to it than me.
He reminded me that everyone was helping each other out.
On my train, people were lending their phones round to total strangers so others could use the infrequent transmission windows in the various networks to re-assure loved ones that they were okay.
Far from the result he envisaged, Osama brought London together.
He's like the 'work-experience' terrorist.
