The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

Did a quick drive-by of: IL State Military Museum, Springfield, IL 39 49'12.40"N 89 40'6.49"W Photos of: M42 M47 M60A3 Did NOT see an M20 outside. Museum was closed so we couldn't get better shots or look inside.

M60A3 The engine deck shot is a crop of a photo taken at the same distance as the other shots. Looks like ex-3524? Maybe?

Also a drive-by photo of the M1 on display at Camp Lincoln in Springfield, IL - 1301 N MacArthur Blvd. everybody sing ..... Don't fence me in .....

Neil, Yes, that is the location of the M1. 39°48'58.92"N 89°40'9.48"W VB
