to the question of how many nukes have been set off since 1945 Shocked ,
saw this on another forum and it floored me

A scary number but I think a few are missing

I remember reports of tests in the 'Southern Ocean' (South Atlantic or Indian) that was thought to be a floating test by either South Africa and/or Israel I don't see any attributed to either country.

did a little more research and at least 8 more confirmed since 1998, I think the one you are refering to is listed as unconfirmed back in 1979 another interesting map here
