Anybody ever been by Tallapoosa, GA.Veterans park? I stumbled on it dodging a wreck on I-20. It was late and closed, but I could make out what looked like a M110A2 howitzer, and what appeared to be a M108 or a M109. Also a towed 105, a Patton tank, and a M587. That was all I could see from the road, and places I could go. Looking at Google maps, it appears they have a bunch more things around the park.

Should also have M60A1 SN 7823 there.

Maybe it was an M60 rather than a Patton.

Maybe it was an M60 rather than a Patton.

FYI, as I'm sure someone is bound to point out (so I'll do it), all members of the M47/48/60 family of tanks are collectively considered "Pattons". So Joe is not correcting you, just clarifying what model you likely saw, specifically.

heck, Im a IT director, and married with children... It will take qa lot more than that to hurt my feelings....... Laughing

I'm not really up on post WW2 stuff, I KNOW i could be wrong.........
