Post subject: Tallapoosa, GA.Veterans park

Anybody ever been by Tallapoosa, GA.Veterans park? I stumbled on it dodging a wreck on I-20. It was late and closed, but I could make out what looked like a M110A2 howitzer, and what appeared to be a M108 or a M109. Also a towed 105, a Patton tank, and a M587. That was all I could see from the road, and places I could go. Looking at Google maps, it appears they have a bunch more things around the park.

- tankdriver Maybe it was an M60 rather than a Patton. FYI, as I'm sure someone is bound to point out (so I'll do it), all members of the M47/48/60 family of tanks are collectively considered "Pattons". So Joe is not correcting you, just clarifying what model you likely saw, specifically.

FYI, as I'm sure someone is bound to point out (so I'll do it), all members of the M47/48/60 family of tanks are collectively considered "Pattons". So Joe is not correcting you, just clarifying what model you likely saw, specifically.

heck, Im a IT director, and married with children... It will take qa lot more than that to hurt my feelings....... Laughing

I'm not really up on post WW2 stuff, I KNOW i could be wrong.........
