Thanks guys for the clarification. I have updated the entry for the M4A4 with a new model name, and moved it from Quantico to RMP. I have added the comments from Kurt here and those from Dontos here and in PMs and in the other RMP thread, along with Dontos' photos. Here it is now:

T6 M4A4

From a quick Google I found some links that may be of interest:

After a full Volunteer workday yesterday, a bunch of things were done. Included was the removal of the T6 (M4A4) 'duckbill' track, partial reassembly of the Sd Kfz 251/9, and test start up and operation of the Challanger.

Go Challenger! It's a few years since I commanded one of those, but you never forget your first love!

After spending several hours in the Motor Pool today, Here are some of the vehicles I got to tinker with beside 'Cobra King'

Climbed into the M37 and located original data plate, SN 37. Interior crew compartment is in real decent condition.

Also climber thru the M51 Isherman. Attempted to locate data plate which was not present. Inspected the turret and drivers compartment.

Photos to follow

If you look on the rear hull sides as shown in my handout:

www.scribd.com/doc/194...-Locations

You might be able to find the hull build number which would link it back to the original tank.

A few new photos of some vehicle moves to and from the Museum into RMP

Here is the Hetzer (G 13) which had been in the WWII Gallery of the Museum. It has been replaced with the Sd Kfz 251/9.

Also a new shot of the Sd Kfz 234/4. Both are now stored in Bldg 6118 in Richardson Motor Pool.

Got a shot of a 'new' data plate:

M26 SN 1761 (Is it me or does that look to have been a T26E3 originally....?)

Enjoy
