The Iraqis have been using the M1A1 since January 2010....there are images on Getty Images showing them in a parade roll past.

I wonder if they'd like a few Tornado GR4? Looks like we've a few spare, plus Challengers and other surplus kit.

I dont know if the deals ever happened, but previously GD was trying to sell the Saudis M1's but they werent going to be genuine GI-- M1's sans all of the fancy toys and electonics and optics issued to our current military.
Are these A1s the same? They all have genuine GI parts?
