The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

Hello.

The english version of the book "The Tanks of August" has appeared.

The publication of this collection of essays coincides with the second anniversary of the armed conflict between Russia and Georgia on August 8-12, 2008.
In depth description of the war. It is written by russian military analysts , but fairly honest and impartial, without any concessions to russian side.

Foreword by David Glantz.

Thanks for posting this, I had a friend there when this all brewed up. Was very surprised to hear his take on it, very much the opposite of what Western media was putting out. Should be for some interesting reading. _________________ Joe_D
