Anyone posted about this? I just reinstalled everything on a new hard drive and when I hit the FSX EULA a pop up for a new ms flight sim came up. "Microsoft Flight" I know I have been gone a long time, but really? I thought FSX was going to be it?

It seems as if MS is going to go the same route as popular Groundpounder games and require an online server to fly with others. No doubt MS will control the servers and control what you can and can't use in the way of 3rd party add-ons in the same way as popular online First Person Shooter games.

This is progress (the way MS sees it) and will allow for more revenue to be generated. At this point in time, it's too early to tell just how much control MS will invoke.

Who knows what cool new features MS will include in the new software. Perhaps a combat feature? Wouldn't that be cool if you could do some combat simulation using the vast scenery and maps already available.

combat? Wow, I better go back to flight school! but you KNOW M$ will control everything... just dont get any vaccines etc (you know the conspiracies about Bill Gates and the DNA vaccines, right? LOL)....
