T-72 model 1979 ?
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

Are there any T-72 model 1979 in museum ? Because there are many T-72M in other museums and those are export model , if there are no original T-72 model 1979 in museum it will be quite sad , hope someone can reply , thx

I suppose you mean T-72As? There are some at Bergen training area , Hammelburg training area and Munsingen training area in use as hard target. Borden, Ontaria and Lesany have also a T-72A. Unfortunately I dont have any serialnumbers from them regards, Lesley

Just taking about some T-72A (Russian build) that similar to T-72M , and I think if it in training ground ex:target , I don,t think that call preserve , because I will gone someday

I have the following for Russia, but maybe Koluchiy knows more about preserved T-72As in Russia. Aksay, Nishny Tagil and Sholokhovo regards, Lesley
