Following up on my last posting on Ontario, here are the results from my travels in Quebec this fall. Some of these numbers will just confirm what is already in the Register, but some are new and will help fill in some blanks. M113 C&R Lynx, on display on the east side of the armory
Centurion Mk5, in a storage compound on the west side of the armory

The Centurion Mk5 listed in the register is gone from the front of the museum.

Quebec City
Universal Carrier
M4A2(76)HVSS, serial number is 65237. These vehicles are inside the Citadel. The only way to see them is take the 1 hour guided tour, as visitors are not allowed to wander unescorted inside as it is still an active military installation.

Sherbrooke
M4A2(75)VVSS DV, in a park at the corner of Rue Elizabeth & Boul. Queen Victoria. Serial number is 8007.
N45 24.438 W071 54.087

Stanstead
M4A2(76)HVSS, located in front of Canadian Legion Branch 5, at 15 Maple St. Serial number is 65029
N45 01.156 W072 05.663

Trois Rivieres
Armory at 574 St. Francis Xavier at Genevieve St. N46 20.855 W072 32.513
M4A4 Sherman with 17 pdr barrel. This tank definitely doesn’t look right with the 17 pdr barrel in the early narrow M34 mount and without the armored radio box on the rear. There must be an interesting story behind this conversion. Wish I knew it. Serial number is 5235.

The barrel isn't mounted correctly so it looks like it probably didn't have one originally and a spare 17pdr barrel lying around was used.
