OK, fella's here's the short story

cleaned out my whole system as to any references to IL-2 related stuff, yes, also the registry tossed to the bin everything that had a hinch of ubisoft etc etc, restarted the system installed FB when I want to install AEP it bloody keeps telling me that it can't find the FB installation

............you tell me ........... it plainly sucks and I'm getting pretty close to the point of tossing everything UBI related and thus IL-2 related for that matter.....

All pointers, helps, you name it, is most welcome

had the same thing happen to me. i extended all folders and deleted all the files one be one, and kept working my way back to the main folder. it takes a butt load of time but it worked for me.

i am sure you did this but also delete hyperlobby, and anything else that might have something to do with the game. this might be overkill but it worked for me.

it is a registery problem for sure.

2 Ideas for you

firstly AEP should be installed over Patch 1.21

Secondly Do you have games from different areas.. ie Is say your IL-2 FB disk Dutch and your AEP disk German?

Am around on TS if you wanna have a go at it

You may have to add the registry key if it's not there. That's why the game doesn't install sometimes.

Right click on the IL-2 folder in the registry, add a new string value, name it so it looks like the above. That should be it.

All English lenguage versions, thyer just ain't a "dutch"version Laughing

just got the AEP disc today fresh from the reprint department......no copy but a legit version all the rest of the stuff is also legit....so therfore I'm somewhat confused with it
