South Lebanese Army BTR-50 Medevac Ambulance Actual PICS in
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

Post subject: South Lebanese Army BTR-50 Medevac Ambulance Actual PICS in
As many of you know, the Israeli Armor museum at Laturn (sic?) has a BTR-50 Medevac modified in the front of the vehicle to allow easy placement of stretchers (a Google image search turns it up quick). Does anyone know of pics of the type in SLA service in the mid 1980s? Does anyone know of any color pics of vehicles in the actual shade of blue used by the SLA and not the museum painted vehicles? If its not too much trouble to you armyjunk2, I'd appreciate that. No rush though. I have a decent amount off the web as well as some from a pdf book on the PT-76 series. I just wish I had an actual pic of the thing, if only just one in SLA service.
