Post subject: South Lebanese Army BTR-50 Medevac Ambulance Actual PICS in

As many of you know, the Israeli Armor museum at Laturn (sic?) has a BTR-50 Medevac modified in the front of the vehicle to allow easy placement of stretchers (a Google image search turns it up quick). Does anyone know of pics of the type in SLA service in the mid 1980s? Does anyone know of any color pics of vehicles in the actual shade of blue used by the SLA and not the museum painted vehicles? "Latrun", but we don't grade on spelling. I don't know anything about the vehicle in question, though.

If its not too much trouble to you armyjunk2, I'd appreciate that. No rush though. I have a decent amount off the web as well as some from a pdf book on the PT-76 series. I just wish I had an actual pic of the thing, if only just one in SLA service.

As an aside Mr Junkman, what a great bunch of photos from that Afghan junkyard! Is it a track from an FT17 that the Hummer is dragging out?
