How many NSU Springer and Borgward IV left?
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

Post subject: How many NSU Springer and Borgward IV left?

Hello,

I've seen today thaty the ASPHM association near Strasbourg, France, aquired recently an NSU Springer demolition vehicle :
http://www.asphm.com/vehicules/sdkfz_304_springer/sdkfz_304_springer.html

Do you know how many NSU Springer and Borgward IV demolition vehicles survived until today?

I would not be interested in the Goliath demolition vehicle, as I already know many of them all around the world.

thanks

Pierre-Olivier

They are very rare. You could make register of them on your website.

I believe it could be a model of an earlier version of the Borgward, not a B IV but a B II. Example pics here:

I was thinking along the lines of a BII also.
What did the prototype Goliaths look like? There's no indication of the size of it, to see whether it's "man sized".

The type of vehicle is in Poland unknown.

It is part of Engineers Museum, Wroc?aw (Poland)
Which evolved from sapper memory room and open air exposition

Excellent, now we've got an idea of size, more Goliath than BIV!
