Archival Ft Knox Trivia and Vehicle ID Quiz
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

Agree. At the very least, they are not M151's.

I didn't recall that area out there being paved. Was that taken up and seeded or is it still there?

The deuce n half by the M48 is from the M211-M135 series GMC or Jimmy's as we called them in Canada. You can tell by the rounded slant hood.

I chopped the original 'Photo 2' up so ID is a little easier.

Photo 2 - 2:

(Notes for 2-2: Is it me, or does there appear to be the T95 prototype CEV in the lower right....??)

Different angle of 2 - 3:

Doug

The paved area is the parking lot, which is still there.

Sheridan and M60A1E2 or M60A2 prototypes or early versions, along with a V100 next to Waybur Theater. They don't get a lot of that kind of traffic.
Do we have a date on this?

No date indication on any of the digital images. I figure the vehicles might give some idea.

Photo 1 is definitely early 60's

Photo 2 late 60's early 70'sa ??

My best guess. I assume its some sort of Armed Forces Day or something like that.

That looks like a huge gut truck in the corner of the parking lot!
